Reawakening (Vinyl record)

Since the ancient time, music has become one of the most important part in people’s culture, and has been changing due to the social revolution and generation. When the recording technology has invented, music was played in an easier way such as CDs, Cassette tape, Laser disc,Vinyl record. But, when technology has develop into the age of internet, playing music was even more convenient with digital file. Listening to music online has become possible through the website as Youtube or listening from streaming application for example, Apple music, Spotify, Joox, Deezer or Tidal. Although some groups of people is still using vintage record, we can’t ignore the fact that listening music from internet is more convenient and respond the needs of new generation more. Now that consumer behaviour in music industry has changed, music streaming sales percentage is rising more than music recorder, and the result is an amount of waste from music industry. This project is the experiment of vinyl record into accessory set, to remind ourself that once it used to be precious and to add more value to this waste.
